National Federations Workshops
To improve the administrative structures and enhance the general administrative capabilities of National Wrestling Federation, it is extremely important to expose the managers and the administration staff to essential tools. United World Wrestling organizes various workshops, seminars and courses on an annual basis to contribute towards the national federations' sustainable development and help improve specific aspects of their management, with a special emphasis on better governance.
The National Federations' Workshops are one-day seminars usually organized at a continental level and in conjunction with the Senior Continental Championships, with support of the continental councils.
Since 2017, 8 National Federations Workshops have been held on 4 continents and over 92 federations attended these events.
The following areas are discussed during these workshops:
- Introduction of United World Wrestling development programs and projects
- Olympic Solidarity World Programmes for athletes and coaches
- Round table discussions and feedback
- Assisting member federations in critical areas
Individual meetings with the delegates from our national federations are usually arranged after the workshops to enhance communication, which allow us to better understand and service our member federations.
