ROME, Italy (June) -- Freestyle at Matteo Pellicone saw Azerbaijan claim most of the gold medals at the Ranking Series event. Azerbaijan won four gold medals and Slovakia being the second-best with two gold. Turkey, Puerto Rico, Ukraine and Georgia managed to win a gold each in Rome.

Here are the 10 gold-medal bouts from the Matteo Pellicone Ranking Series event.

GOLD: 61kg - Andrii DZHELEP (UKR) vs. Recep TOPAL (TUR)

 

GOLD: 65kg - Erik ARUSHANIAN (UKR) vs. Sebastian RIVERA (PUR)

 

GOLD: 70kg - Joshgun AZIMOV (AZE) vs. Murad EVLOEV (AZE)

 

GOLD: 74kg - Turan BAYRAMOV (AZE) vs. Taimuraz SALKAZANOV (SVK)

PONTEVEDRA, Spain (September 8) -- The U20 World Championships will close out with the medal bouts in five Freestyle weight classes on Sunday. 61kg, 74kg, 86kg, 92kg and 125kg wrestlers will try to win the medals. The United States has already won the team title with Iran trying to maintain the second spot. But Japan is threatening to come close to them. The medal bouts in Freestyle from Friday's weight classes will begin at 18:00 hours.
