PIRAE, Tahiti (April) -- The Oceania Wrestling Council last month held its Annual General Assembly in Pirae, Tahiti. The Executive Committee, led by president Antonio I. Aquino (GUM), discussed a range of topics including a review of worldwide sporting participation, athlete development programs, education and professional outreach.

SANYA, China (April 27) -- The sixth edition of Asian Beach Games are being held in Sanya, China from April 22 to 30.
The Beach Wrestling event at the Asian Beach Games 2026 will held from April 28 to 30. The technical meeting for the same was held on April 27, Monday in Sanya.
A total of 118 wrestlers from 27 countries will compete at the Asian Beach Games, making Beach Wrestling the top sport in terms of participating nations.
