Yasar Dogu to Replace South African Open as Freestyle Ranking Series Event

CORSIER-SUR-VEVEY (June 8) – The 46th Annual Yasar Dogu International has been named a Ranking Series event in men’s freestyle wrestling.

The tournament will be held July 27-29 in Istanbul and replaces the South African Open, which cited a lack of early sign-ups as motivation to cancel its event.

PATTAYA, Thailand (June 29) -- The U20 Asian Championships kicks off in Pattaya, Thailand from Wednesday with Greco-Roman, followed by Women's Wrestling and then Freestyle.

The U20 Asian Wrestling Championships will run from July 1 to 5 with 120 medals up for grabs. Iran, India, Japan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan remain the strongest countries in the mix.
