Wrestling Supports WADA's "Play True Day"

CORSIER-SUR-VEVEY, Switzerland (April 9) -- United World Wrestling has given its full endorsement of the World Anti-Doping Association's (WADA) campaign, Play True Day," posting a series of images with the top names of the sport.  

"Clean sport is vital to fair play," said United World Wrestling president Nenad Lalovic. "We appreciate these initiatives and know that the exposure helps ensure our community is receiving these important messages."

WADA has created a series of templates for athletes to also use with their own photos, which states "Play True, Play Safe." You can find their resources, here.

ALEXANDRIA, Egypt (April 27) -- The U17, U20 and Senior African Championships begins in Alexandria, Egypt from April 27 to May 2.

The U17 African Championships will take place first on April 27 and 28. The U20 African Championships will be held on April 29 and 30 and the Senior African Championships will be on May 1 and 2.

April 29 (Wednesday): U20 Greco-Roman all weight categories; U20 Women's Wrestling 53kg, 57kg, 62kg, 68kg, 76kg
