Fredrik BJERREHUUS (DEN) tried qualifying for the Olympics in 2012 and 2016. But both times he failed to do so. In 2019, he finished fifth at the World Championships which automatically gave him the ticket to Tokyo. He reached the semifinal in Nursultan but lost to Artem SURKOV (RUS). In the bronze medal bout, Mate NEMES (SRB) was too hot to handle for him.
