About Fateh
In an incredible run at the African-Oceania Olympic qualifier, the 20-year-old Fateh BENFERDJALLAH (ALG) stormed in the final and clinched the spot for the Olympic Games. This will be his first trip to the Olympics but he has won a silver medal at the Youth Olympic Games in 2018. Still a junior, the Algerian will be competing in the 86kg in Tokyo. He has two silver medals at the senior African Championships and a bronze medal at the Sassari ranking series event in 2019.
