CORSIER-SUR-VEVEY, Suisse (le 15 avril) -- Ils sont les plus grands hommes de la lutte et ils en ont offert ces dernières années quelques-unes des plus épiques batailles.

Pleines d'action, énergiques au possible et avec des résultats imprévisibles, les rencontres entre le champion olympique de Rio Taha AKGUL (TUR) et le triple champion du monde Geno PETRIASHVILI (GEO) sont devenues des incontournables pour les fans de lutte autour du monde. Le duo s'est affronté plus d'une demi-douzaine de fois, partageant victoires et défaites dans des combats aux scores élevés remplis d'un acharnement à la limite du possible.

Le documentaire offre des moments forts d'action sur le tapis, mais souligne aussi l'extraordinaire repect et admiration que chacun d'eux éprouve pour l'autre. 'Je suis préparé et motivé à l'extrême chaque fois que nous combattons," dit Akgul dans le film. "C'est un athlète incroyable au mental puissant," réplique Petriashvili.

Quand le ton peut monter vite sur le tapis, ce duo atteste de la puissance du respect dans une rivalité, que la lutte -- intense et sans pardon -- peut-être source d'identité et de caractère.

Festival VIrtuel Mondial de la Jeunesse UTS (18-22 novembre), Bangkok

Plusieurs organisations sportives se sont unies avec United Through Sports pour lancer le Festival Virtuel Mondial de la Jeunesse 2020 UTS, le premier festival virtuel pour les jeunes de toutes capacités. Le festival comprend des compétitions en diverses catégories d'âge de 10 ans ou moins jusqu'à 18 ans, pour des événements de qualification en ligne pour cinq compétitions : Max Fit, Aero Fit, Talent, Inclusive Sports et Special Olympics.
